anybody know anything about this boat?
Old     (ralph)      Join Date: Apr 2002       08-16-2004, 5:08 PM Reply
Same hull as the V210. I haven't been in one but can deduce from my V210 experience:
Should throw a great wake with a bit of weight in it.
Will handle like a sports car.
Will last forever.

Sangers are great boats and they have a sweet wake.

I had a 94 DLX and loved it. It is a versatile boat. I am a slalom skier and I can tell you the slalom wake wasn't great for a dd compared to CC and MC. I am such a hack on a wakeboard that I couldn't speak to it's board wake, except to say that it is indeed the same hull as the v drive of that era. I would say versatility is the boats top attribute, plus the fact it is a Sanger and they have been making great boats for a long time.

I have a 1995. I added the monster tower and racks. here is a picture of the boat and one of my nephew wakeskating behind it. I haven't added any weight, cause usally I have 9 to 10 people (mostly kids) with me. good luck Sangers are great boats.

Jeff,

The V210. Internal ballasts, tower, trailor and bimini top. Not worried about a stereo. I'll take care of that. I hear good things about them, but are they a MC priced boat, or a Moomba? Or in the middle price-wise. Thanks

Her is my 96 DLX. Paid 17500 last June In Sacramneto for it w 130 hrs on it. I added 3K in stereo, tower, semi auto ballast. Ride is excellant, has 300lbs in locker and 400 lead in rear. surf wake is good with enough people, wake is very rampy and clean. Sangers wakes are very sensitive to weight in boat and clean up well by moving people around. Ride is excellant.

surf wake @ 12.5mph

Pete,
They're a Moomba priced boat.
You won't be sorry if you purchase a Sanger.

By the way, In todays Sacramento Bee there is an 01 V210 w 160 hrs @ 25K, has tower w speakers and racks. Might be a little high, depends on how clean it is.

Pete,
Barry is about right I think. Moomba priced, maybe a little less. MC boats are pricey. I suspect it is due to all the press time they get and all the marketing costs, someone has to pay for that..... Sangers are manufactured in very small quantities and are still hand made.

I sent you a PM.

I have the 03 V210 and it has been excellent.
