I took my wakesetter out first time yesterday....it has a slight miss and when you get up to about 2000 rpms it bogs down real bad and slowly gets up to speed. I thought it had fouled plug but i checked them all and its not. Also in the back of the motor there is a fuel line and the nut has a gap in it like it's been cut and there is fuel leaking out of it when you turn the switch on....I don't think it is anything much but just wandering if anybody knew what was going on....

Sounds like you are not getting the fuel pressure that your engine needs. If it is spewing fuel out, then there is more than likely air in the line as well. I would take the boat to your dealer ASAP, fuel leaks are very dangerous and are not something to take lightly.

Fix the leak right away because that saves your heirs the insurance hassle. Then see if it still has a problem.

Sounds similar to a problem I had last year....
I had the same symptoms, and thought it was the fuel pump. My service dept. replaced the fuel pump, but after about the third time out, it started happening again. When all said and done, it was the fuel receiving/sending unit (?). A small piece that connects the fuel line to the gas tank. I'm no expert, but your service dept. will know what I'm trying to say?? It's worth asking.

Good luck, and I hope it's something simple!
