Anybody ever ride this lake? i love it..its not the calmest but perfect for 2 weeks once a year..any other lakes in michigan that are good?

Other great areas - Bass River Recreation area, Gull Lake, western Gun Lake, Spring Lake.

yeah i thought so. ive ridden orchard lake, wolverine lake, lakeville, leelanau and thinking about riding grand traverse bay on a calm day.

Lakes in the Metro Detroit area are usually pretty busy unless its early in the morning. So anything more north would be your best bet!

yeah we usually go out out in the afternoon..lakeville is nice near rochester but it does get rough because of the way it is set up

Torch Lake is beautiful, and big enough that I can always find calm water.

I keep my boat on Cass Lake in Waterford, its definately busy but not too bad. If I can slalom 4 nights a week that must say something about the water.

torch lake is a little to far for me..anything around metro-detroit besides orion, orchard and metro?
