What Wakeboard or Bindings are you planning on buying in 2005?

do they still make the Shackles?

Dude I think it's like an urban legend or something. Some say yes, some say no. Some say they went out of business but Mike still sells boots. Either way I want some.

Those bindings look pretty sweet. What kind are they. Are those Soul Bound? I have heard of that brand, but have never seen them

Yeah they're Solbounds. They're called Shackles. I know that Randall Harris had a signature boot, those are it seen above. Steve Wahlman had a signature boot, all black, and then there was a blue/black, red/black, and gray/black. You could also interchange all the boots colors for custom creations. Everyone that's ridden 'em says they freakin' rock.

Except Joe Umali. I Saw some post from him saying they were the worst bindings ever. But, that guy rips on everything except BS and DU. Man, putting this post out here is just like throwing chum in the water. Im sure he is coming to this thread any minute now, to flame me and those bindings, lol

I'm trying to decide what board to buy with my B-Day money. I can't figure it out, I was trying to stay with Hyperlite because Greg from Hyperlite has always been good to me and my family, but nothing in there line looks like it would come close to my '02 Belmont. If I went with any other board company i would probably pick the Ricky G board.

I don't know what to do any suggestions?

Come on Thane help a brother out.

Shawn will you be riding this new board next weekend at the Delta?

i have tried to go to www.wakeon.com but for some reason, my computer at work wont show the java or shockwave buttons. poor web design, just use regular buttons. less to go wrong.

Shawn, your not a bother were brothers. How could you be a bother?

rip on everything, ryan? that's absolutely untrue. tell me when you've seen me rip on cwb, liquid force, and hyperlite bindings ('cept the ripping issue)? while you're at it, tell me when i've ever suggested blindside bindings?

you're right about one thing...imo, solbounds were the worst bindings i've ever ridden. but, you think i'm the only one? come to cali and i'll have you talk to a bunch of people that hated solbound.

Ant - Depends on if I can freakin' make up my mind and if Wakesports has what ever it may be in stock. Unless of course I go with something other than Hyperlite or Liquid Force.

Let me know if there really is room for me and my fiance.

Ohhh, relax Joe, Im just messing with ya. Im just saying that I have seen you do a lot of ripping on different products. I cant give you any quotes, because quit frankly Im to lazy to go back and find the post. But, I can definitely say you have more negative things to say then anyone else on this site. But, hey you make it interesting here. Without different opions, this would be pretty boring. Ok, time to go home for the day. So can blast me. But I wont see it util tomorrow. Later.

i am relaxed...i took the day off of work...how can i not be relaxed?

ok, when you get back tomorrow, since you're accusing me of "ripping on different products," i want you to prove it. you can't make accusations like that w/o proof.

Joe doesn't rip on products. He specializes in attacking people.

"here's a question...why the hell would you buy a pair of bindings, THEN ask for recommendation on what to get? do you wipe your ass before you take a crap, too?"
-Joe Umali

Premiers are the finest boards money can buy. Hands down. Nobody argue because I don't give a dam what you say. I'm right.

Substance is a sick ride too (ask Thane), oh yeah and all the other boards work pretty good too

Decided between riding a new Liquid Force Trip or stay with the 2001 Liquid Force Helix I've been riding for the last few days.... I know I said i'm going back to the mellow boards but I tried this out one day cause my bindings were already attached and I loved it! I either need a new Trip, Temet or belmont(heavy though), or spend some time on a new 134 Substance.... anyone wanna loan me one? hahaah.. As far as bindings my 2004 Ultras are amazing but I wouldn't mind the Transits... I just got spoiled with the no strings or straps issue and now I HATE tieing the Transits up..

I saw the new Absolute platinum today. It is bad as hell, I'll try to score one of those. Bindings...I like the look of the new Team boot by LF but the Transits fit really bad so I'm not confident. I like the new Zeus a lot too. At least the pics.. I love my 04's/

i just bought a 2004 ricky
I know I should wait for the 2005, but my board is torn up. I plan on continuing to use my CD PS01's because they are the sickest bindings I have ever ridden ( i have ridden ultras, transits, various hyperlites, alphas, and others im sure)

Ok, Joe I take it back. You don’t rip on EVERY product out there. But you are definitely the most Negative "regular" poster in here. Sometimes, I just sit back and laugh because I’ve seen you attack people or the topic without really fully reading and understanding the issue at hand. It's like, you just can’t wait to start blastin. For instance, re-read the thread that J-Rod linked in his Post. That’s why I made the comment "Sometimes I don’t know about you".
But, hey it's hard to really tell what someone is like from web posting. You might be the nicest, non-confrontational guy in the "real world". But, your internet personality kinda sucks! But, like I said before, people like you make this site interesting.

I'm in the mix of buying a 2004 Temet 132.7 and a pair of 04 Era, so I'd expect to be riding those.

I have been riding the harris all summer. Even though I will probably pick another one up this winter, I will still be riding my harris. Has anybody rode GB sinister?
