I would guess based on experience that BB is probably still below 60.

They are at 91 % of capacity

Aaron, you need to go again so that you can start posting some fresh pictures

Violater, if that link told us the temp we would really be dialed.

Im guessing the Pic's Aaron posted are from mid summer if the lake is at 91% the water is real high against the dam. I bet it looks awesome up there right now with the water at the tree line. Do you think the water is nice and blue right now or does it take a while for the water to turn from brown to blue form all the rain run off.

G-

I am guessing it will take a lil while but that is simply a guess... After being at tulloch 2 weeks back, it was the brownest I had seen in years.

What I love about Bullard's is that it's not blue, it's GREEN...emerald green.

stays green all year round. It is so deep the run off does not effect the color much.

What about debris in the water? Every year when we go before July, seems we're dodging logs and stuff.

No more posting about Bullards Bar. Those pictures were altered. The water is actually the muddiest water you have ever seen. Dave is right. There is so much debris in the water year round it makes wakeboarding and boating nearly impossible, so don't waste your time. Let's just pretend it is a ficticious place that does not exist...

is there any lodging on Bullard's Bar other than camping or houseboating? I'd love to do a weekend with the family, but it's a no go on camping with our 8 month old, and wouldn't quite need the houseboat...

Clear green water this time of year, yeah... probably cold. Give it a month and it will be 80 degrees.
