I haven't heard of any really good spots in Tucson unfortunately. Your best bet is to go to ASU instead and try to make friends with some other people who will be happy to take you boarding. But don't join the wakedevils unless you're amazingly good.

You're pretty much going to be SOL. A lot of boaters in Tucson drive up to the Phoenix lakes (esp. Saguaro) to boat.

Like others said the nearest lakes to ride are in in the Phx area, 2 hour drive. U of A might have a wake club, not sure, which would be a great place to find some pulls.

Apache Lake rules but is about 2.5 hrs from Tucson. Easy to get pulls in the find a 3rd section. But it will all be near phx. there is really nothing near Tucson other than Patagonia.......

where else in the area can you ride? i grew up skiing Patagonia but thought that was closed on weekends to wakeboarders and skiers on the weekends? patagonia was still about 45 min from Tucson

patagonia? lol Its like trying to wakeboard in a pool. Not to mention every time I have been there, the fisherman have all freaked out. I understand where they are coming from in this case since you pass the same one every 3 minutes.
