Just bought an 05 Centurion cyclone, moved up from an 04 Ouback. Love the boat! I only have the stock center ballast and I am wondering how other Cyclone owners maximize their wake for both wakeboarding and wakesurfing. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Change your prop to a Acme four blade, call Acme & get a reccomendation. It made the hugest difference in my boat. Check the archives here for the prop number, I am not near my boat. It made the wake larger & cleaner, it allowe the boat to pull better RPM's while towing. I also have perfect pass & the it helped settle the speeds down. Then you can sack it in all four corners, just two sacks in the rear makes the wake worse IMO. Good luck & enjoy!

The 05 Centurions V drives all have gear reduction and 4 blade Acme props.

I own an 04 and ride with the factory three tanks. Which is the center plust 300 on each side for great wake. This boat doesn't really like weight in the nose that much. So and extra sac on the rear bench works 4 us as well when its just me n my wife.

Acme prop is definitely the way to go. Their three blades beat most 4blades on the market. I propt down 2 and boats runs great.
