Not as fancy as above - but 100% paid for. Hell, that Avalanche hasn't been able to give me a reason to replace her, and since my wife doesn't drive it and I have a company vehicle to go to/from the office she will have several years of service left in her.

Nothing too fancy here, 2005 Grand Cherokee with a 4.7 (and 2wd! - coolest set up ever) and 2008 Moomba Outback. After always having new cars, I bought the Jeep on the cheap and I can't imagine ever buying a brand new car again - I'm all for letting someone else take the depreciation hit, lol.

i really wish ford would put heavy springs in the rear of their 3/4 ton trucks. your boat should not make you trucks ass drag that much. my girls dad has an 11 dodge ram 2500 and we hitched up 9500 lb denali travel trailer and his ass didnt even drag that much.

David,
I have a four inch block in the back that helped with the sagging. I agree with you, it crazy how much the rear sags especially in a truck that is suppose to be heavy duty.

you are running a leveling kit, right?

yes leveling kit in the front then had to do 4 inch in the back because it was nose up after we installed the leveling kit. I know its crazy but the guys said they had seen that before on the fords.....

seems pretty typical of all brands. if you level a truck so that it sits level without a load, then when you place 350-500lbs of tongue weight on the hitch and load the bed with gear, it suddenly becomes unelevel in the opposite direction, and the weight bias shifts towards the rear axle. trucks are designed to sit tail high without a load so that they ride level with a load and dont compromise handling, braking and steering. whether it looks cool or not in stock form is a different story....

i toyed with leveling my 2010 Tundra, but ended up adding a complete 3" Old Man Emu kit all the way around to mitigate the problems associated with leveling a truck that you intend to tow/haul with...sorry for the threadjack....all the rigs posted are bad ace!

I have rear firestone airbag helper springs on my dodge. If i load the back up I can just pump them full of air with a air compressor and level it out. This may help if you do a front leveling kit. I hauled 2000 lbs of hard wood floors the other day and it was dragging ass big time till i got to the gas station and put about 40 psi in the bags on each side. then it didnt even look like it had a load.

Why don't you just install an air pump and small tank in the back under the bed? Then you do not have to go to the gas station to get air. I saw a good install on "Trucks" over the weekend and the pump and tank were mounted up next to the frame rails out of the way and it looked real good.

That is a Switch Blade. That is used for ballast. It moved up and down, not side to side. Kinda works like the Malibu Power Wedge.

You can't beat the convenience of an onboard compressor and tank for instant air but if you're budget ballin a 2 volt air compressor will do the job. I got a freebie with an online parts order 2+ yrs ago and it has yet to let me down.

Does that thing work?? If it's well designed and has a significant, positive effect I wouldn't be surprised, it just looks like from its size that it could work too well and anchor the boat

Does it work?? of course it does or I would not have installed it. it is equal to about 1200 LBS of ballast and relay helps the wake and the wave get a barrel when surfing and a clean wake with no wash out when wake boarding. Here is a link im sure it will explain how it works better than I can http://switchbladewake.com/

LOL, yes, I should clarify that I'm not the true owner of either boat. My buddy has a sponsorship with Nautique/MarineMax and I am the "keeper" so to speak. I have the garage and the tow vehicle...not a bad gig The black one was the one he had up until last week. MarineMax sold that one, so now we are using the white one (for sale if anyone wants a good deal!) until his 2012 comes.

I meant no offense, just having never heard of it and looking at the size oif it, its hard not to be a little shocked and skeptical of it. Are there any videos of it in action around? I browsed the website briefly and found one instructional video with some clips but nothing significant showing before/after operation.
It looks like they are independent of any boat maker, but is there a boat that they are working particularly well with or are being installed on the most?

No doubt. Everytime I see it sitting in the truck/boat hooked up I think of how bad ass a white tower would look. I won't complain about a black tower though!

Good to see another Tundra owner! What level kit did you go with and how is the ride, towing and not towing?

Here's mine, I went with the Bilstein 5100's front and rear instead of a level lot (arrives today) .

"@ Harold. I went with the Toyec 3" in the front and a 1.5 in the back. ( http://www.toyteclifts.com/ )I added the 2.5" in the back so the truck would be level when towing and hot sagging in the back. The truck rides just good just like factory. I went from avg 16.5 mpg to 13.5 once the kit was put on with 33" tires. I wish I would have went with a bigger lift so I could have fit 35" on the truck.

I could only wish it was a company rig! Talk about a setup! No I just use the ol' 7.3 it does just fine.

Here is our (the store's) company rig - 2009 Jayco Seneca Duramax Hauler (pictured with the v232 behind and a custom Yamaha Rhino in the garage)! This thing is awesome - two big flatscreens, directv, two bbq's, sound system, enclosed 12' garage, room to sleep six, and tows the boats up anything at 55+ (a lil help from Edge performance, etc).

No trouble towing with the jeep. BUT . . . I live 5 minutes from the lake and when it gets there it sits on a lift all summer.

I have really only had it out on the highway at speeds one time and it was a 15 min drive. It performed plenty well for me. If I were to do it often I might add trailer brakes. My biggest complaint is the lack of power. The motor in these jeeps is junk. There is a new motor for 12 that is supposed to be much better if there is any way to swing it I would try to buy a new one.

^^^ Nice, Tyler! I'm not sure if the RV was your inspiration for the sandrock accents on your 21V, but it sure looks like the boat and the RV were built side-by-side! Very handsome combo.

With that said, I still miss your 2010 21V. All black on that boat is the sickest boat I've seen. And I'm not usually a fan of the "murdered out" look.

Brendan,
Love that international. Those are sweet. On a side note if you watch Chasing Classic Cars wayne was sporting a 1967 dodge power wagon (similar to your international) that was completely pimped out and bad ass. Here is a link to it http://velocity.discovery.com/videos...wer-wagon.html

$150,000 into a old Power Wagon! That's just stupid! Nice truck, but REALLY?!?!

Cool looking International above!

For a 150k I would have dropped something better than a hemi in that beast. Like a bad ass Cummins!

For $150,000, it should have something that would normally go into a car from NASCAR.

A Cummins/Allison swap is hopefully in the 2 year plan for the International

Talking about the best of both worlds...Cummins with an Allison! That would make it one of the most powerful International around.
