This vid was linked in another thread, but didn't get much action.

So for all the hinge haters theres a new and improved heel locking system. 2010 Marius boot looks sick.

Cool Nacho, yeah I put that link on another thread, but like you said, it didn't get much attention.

Looks VERY nice. The new heel lock looks pretty cool. I was partial to the boot opening up for entry/exit but maybe with the new liner getting in and out won't be an issue. designed by orthotic folks, Podiatrist? whatever you call em..

CWB continues to raise the bar.

Looks like that could be my next binding. Very cool. The footbed war at the end was awesome.

So what actually happens when you move that new hinge upwards?

The CWB boots all look good. You will notice that all the high end boots have this new Heel Lock system. AA, Marius, Answer and Faction (not to mention the Ember and Tiffany for the ladies)!!

That little switch is a miracle worker.

I was there to witness it. The footbed war was hillarious.

The new stuff looks and rides great.

Eubanks - looks like it opens up the heel "kidneys" that provide that extra hold that CWB is famous for. Open it to slide in, switch it up to get the kidneys in action clamping on your heel.

How was Palestine last weekend?

Dude, my bad! I totally dropped the ball on trying to get together over the weekend. We were just doing a lot of family stuff on Saturday...playing golf, letting the kids ride, etc. and then we left on Sunday around lunch. We had epic water on Thursday and Friday though. So how far is Emerald Bay from you by water? I'm sure we'll be back at some point soon.

Stoked for the 2010 product.

Emerald is about 10-15 minutes by boat from the Villages launch I use. But, there are several launches around you, even one on the east side of emerald bay. Actually, I think there are 2 launches in Emerald...

Dude, don't worry about it! I worked until late Friday and was busy most of the weekend anyway. it would have been a tough weekend to do it, I had several b-days and stuff going on... Glad to hear you had good water! We'll try again next time you're in the area.
