Im looking for some speakers for my tower. I want something that sounds good but doesnt completely break the bank. Any suggestions?

Kicker Outlaw setup...works out to about 115 per speaker... ours was 4 speakers for $440 and they're super loud... come wired together in so they're only at 2ohms...so then you would a 2-channel amp to power 4 speakers

Dude i appreciate it (i wish!)..but thats prolly more than i need for the 1st set up..i just bought a tower and i dont need to spend another grand..

Anyone have a link to the kicker outlaws? I searched and didn't come up with the ones you all speak of.

the second one, the "outlaw" two sets of the 6.5" -- 4 total speakers are super loud and not too pricey

These will get you started, I ran them my first 2 years, and they worked great! Load and Clear, and priced right.

Sold them for what I paid for them after 2 years of use.

DO NOT GET THE BAZOOKAs... i have had them too and they are worthless....

nubu, those look like maybe a newer/nicer model... watt handling is high, so those would be a good option too....

either those or the outlaws should work great... check local shops for them, you can deal with them compared to online dealers

for a sub I would just go to walmart or something and pick a sony 12" and a sony amp...
then just cut out the footpanel where you would place the sub...it will sound a lot better than a boss...we used 2 bazooka powered subs on our last boat and it was worthless
