}I am looking at my first wakeboard boat. It is a 2001 Moomba Mobius with an Indmar Assault 325 in it. I haven't heard a lot about these motors and just wanted to get some input on them. Any information on them will be really helpful! Thanks Guys!}}

Indmar supplies motors for Malibu, Moomba and others. Great motors. I have 06 Mobius LSV with Assualt 325. if you were not aware, the core of these Indmar's is a Chevy 350.

In 2001 the 325 was an upgrade optional engine and best of choice. Offered was the carb, the TBI and, the multiport injection. the 325 was the multiport.

like b webb says used by mastercraft malibu supra and moomba.....its the bread and butter in wakeboats....the reason you havent heard much of them is because you were maybe always around inboard/outboards before. For these boats its "the" engine.....its more like you have to look for a boat that doesn't have one.

Thanks to everyone who posted a message! Your info was a lot of help! Michael z was right when he said that I had probably had been around inboard/outboards. I've only ever had my dad's 1978 HydraSport. It's a 16'9" pleasure boat so anything is a step up to me! The boat that I am getting has been kept in great condition! It is a 2001 and has 324 hours on it. I should be bringing it home on either Tuesday or Thursday! Maybe now I can get some REAL air! Thanks again!}
