So I'm looking at an 04 Supra Launch SSV with 116hrs for $36,000 or an 04 Calabria Cal Air Pro V with even less hours for $29,500. Both boats are in excellent condition always garaged that sort of thing both equipped the same except the Supra has a better system with a couple subs. So what's your opinions an which one to purchase? Keeping in mind I'm not a hardcore wakeboarder but I like a nice sized wake to catch some decent sized air. Thanks

Supra!!!! Nuff said. Calabria's don't even compare to the SSV. You will have nothing but a great experience with the Supra.

I would buy the Calabria just because I don't like other people's systems and its $6k less for the same options. Go ride both and check out the wakes.

Both are well built boats. As Leo said test ride both then make your decision.

I have an 04 SSV, great boat, but you should be able to find a better price. I'm with Leo on this...$6,500 is a big differnce in price.

First off, a '04 Pro V under a 100hrs. for $29.5k is a great deal. A good dealership may also play into the purchase if you need any service done. In Washington the Calabria dealer is ProCaliber. Have heard good and bad things from this site. Not sure on the Supra, but Skiers choice and Calabria both have great customer service at the manufacturer level. Both would be a great boat.

I have seen that calabria online. I won't give away where the ad is but it looks nice from the pictures. It looks pretty stock which could be a good or bad thing. It was probably bought at pro tour watersports in redmond, which would mean that it has perfect pass. It seems to me that the better deal is the calabria. I don't know which is a better boat though. I am going strictly on price compared to others online.

Thanks guys especially Brett! I'm sort of leaning towards the Cal because it has more room for the family and I tend to have alot out with me when I go out. Although the Supra may have better resale down the road. I'll let ya know how it shakes down. Thanks again

Oh I forgot I already have a boat.

Good prices for both and I dont think you can go worng with either one.

What are the options on both boats?

The wakeplate on the SSV is really nice to have. When I had my SSV and My Moomba XLV I used the Wakeplate all of the time to dial in the boat. It will also control porposing at high spped if you are cruising.

Give us a list of what options are on each boat and we can help you make your decision.
Good luck.

I would buy the Pro V. I have a 03 Cal-Air and have put 300 hrs on it and never had a problem. I talked with many pros and they said that the V has a great wake. They said add to sacks to the out storage and you would have a Pro Wake for little money compaired to the $70K of Malibu 23LSV

He's not comparing it to a 70K LSV!! You will have better resale with the Supra, and a better wake hands down. I know a couple of people who own a Pro V, and they both like the wake on my older SSV much better.

I guess it also depends on what you consider to be a big wake. Some people think that stock wakes are big. To each his own.
