I picked up a notice about a "Boat Demo Day" at Irvine Lake (Orange County, CA) this Saturday and checked it out online. It appears that a few of the local dealers will have both dry land exhibits and several boats in the water for what appears to be test RIDES (not drives I presume) (I also presume no pulls).

Has anyone gone to one of these things before and is it worth the day? I'm tempted simply because a few of the "not seriously considering" boat brands will be there ... who knows, after a ride, they may move to the "worth considering" list.

Worth the day? http://www.scma.com/show_info.htm#
