I saw an older moomba DD at work one day and it was packed with people. The little kangaroo holding the ski-rop graphic was under water and the rub rail was maybe 2-3 inches from touching the water. That was was seriously slammed.

fine is a full sac in the rear, two side sacs on either side of the direct drive, and a custom triangle sac to fill the close bow. Plus 225 pounds of lead, i think its around 2000 pounds. www.wakecoupons.com

Yeah, Schweene's boat is seriously slammed. Saw them out shooting a couple weeks ago and took a peek in the bow. He's running one of those tri-angle sacs up front. SLAMMED. I'd love to ride behind it set up like that. I wish I still had some pics of my Sanger when it was slammed. The swim step would be 6 inches under water and the SANGER on the side would be un-readable. Those were the days. Of course any kind of rollers and water came right over the nose or rear of the boat.

The pic of Schwenne's boat is a little misrepresented. The VLX have a low nose and when you slow down it picks the ass end up and drops the nose. It looks a lot worse than it really is. Granted it's pretty damn low for only having 5 people in it. I'm not trying to take away from the sick wake the Schwan rocks it's just I've ridden behind that boat & the white haired guy is my roommate(head coach Ranger). There's definately a fair amount of weight in it but the nose isn't always that closed to submarining.

Yeah, Stephan that may be when the boat is decelerating and most weighted boats do the same thing, but even when that boat is sitting still it looks like it's going to tip over forward. That boat is definitely slammed.

Just curious, what prop are you guys running to have that much weight? I dont run too much weight in mine partially cause my prop would need to change. I usually run bout 300# total in the rear trunks 350# in the bow aisle and the factory 700#. My prop is a 13x17.5 four blade. It's on a Cally pro V

I run factory 750lbs, A Triandle Pro-X 1000lbs Fat Sac in front. 650 on the floor, 650 on the back seat, and a Pair of 650lbs on each side of the engine. Technicaly that's 4550lbs but, you never really can get a fat sac all the way full. So I estimate its around 4200lbs plus a few chicks. It rules. Burns around 9-10gallons of gas an hour.

andy i got into a big discussion with gethighsports on that triangle sac when they were making my custom triangle for the close bow...they say its not a thousand pound sac, more like 550, mine turned out pretty big and is supposed to only be 365. www.wakecoupons.com

im not sure how much weight they run but chris williams was out at piru the other day and i ride an 80 ft rope and he was halling ass passed us doing double ups. Finally aftert no joke the biggest raleys cuttings grabs off the double up i found out he rides a 95 foot rope at 29.5 on the perfect pass. i thought its kinda rediculous but ive never scene anyone go so big except for randy double ups in the vid parts kinda look the same but chris hits some huge ones. the only double up he did passed our boat was some type of double poked indy grab to blind off the double b ut not wake to wake or anything. he cuts into the double up like a raley for a blind 180 and was landing at least 25 feet in the flats. i dunno it just tripped me out how fast he was riding past our boat and doing doubleups. 95 feet seems long to me.

i think they were running the 23 lsv but maybe it was the 21.5 vlx. they said they have that 2000lb plus acme prop and it still took him almost a minute to plane off with one guy jumping in the nose each time the boat started. i think they were riding the 23lsv cuz i know they had the 8.1 motor and im not sure if the 21.5 comes with it

Mike, I agree that its not a 1000lbs but Mike Sieple at Fly High, he claims they are a 1000lbs. I do believe him, with a couple of peopel you can move a 750 around the boat, a few days ago we tried to move the triangle bow sac and it was impossible with 3 hand on it. Its definetly heavier than a 750. I mean look at it, its freaking big,

Check out www.waterskiamerica.com and the legends of ray hubbard. 3000 pounds and 10 people on the 23 LSV. The prop was changed to a 14x16 and it jumps out of the water. The motors a 8.1 litre.

Oh yes, I forgot that he has a hot tub plumbed in off the water pump. In the winter it fills up the cabin. Take a set, then sit in the hot tub.
