I am in the market for new tower speakers. If I had to decide today I am going with WetSounds. Can anyone recommend any others that are high quality and sound great?

Wetsounds, NVS, or HSE. Any of those will be top of the line. All are pro audio and will get very loud and sound great. www.wetsounds.com www.nvs1.net www.hsetrident.com

Jason - All 3 of the companies that David posted make great products. I see that we have roughly the same boat and tower setup. I have an '02 X30 with the new '05-'06 X-30 tower. I too am searching for a new tower speaker setup. I think I am going with the HSE box the following reasons: 1) hang height is only 10.5" compared to the Wetsounds 13+". The NVS only hang down 10.5" too but I like the look of the HSE box. 2) Weight of the HSE box is only 50 lbs. 3) Looks - I like the look of a fiberglass/gel coated boat over the Wetsounds or NVS systems. Also, the 10" drivers on the NVS speakers just look overkill for the tower. Just my thoughts.

Just spoke w/ John @ Tidal Audio the other day. I bought an Octupus last year, things awesome! He said they now have pro audio set ups for a couple of their enclosures. He also said they will be releasing some new single pods w/ 8's and 10's. I just looked on their web site, but the newest stuff isn't on there yet www.tidalaudio.com Good Luck!

I am leaning towards the 3-SOME from Wet Sounds... So how much wattage are you guys running to your tower speakers and what amps are you liking? Thanks for the advice!

does anyone know or have pics of fitting 2 pro 80's in the stock illusion x mounts. will 2 80's fit on one side or do you have to rock the 60's.

thanks hommie, what your opinion though when they are stacked up on the sides. im afraid the bottom one will block alot of the sound from the top one. and i dont want it to look stuffed in there. i would like to keep the keep the center bar empty and gt as much from the 4 pods as possible. but its all still up in the air right now. thaks eyez,

Hey all eyes on me was that you KILLING IT at the lost isle dock before the sound off.IF so sounds SICK and LOUD. NOW about the post I run pro80's{wetsounds} but I think nvs are louder and have more mid ,but bigger heavier ,and take more power to run.

yea it was actually scott babson from kustom kar who was in control of the volume. if he blows it he has to replace it. whats nice about the nvs is that they do use a 10 inch mid driver, which like you said gives you more mid bass, not just a loud horn sound. thats why i like nvs so much. the balance between the horn and mid.

Guys, I just picked up my new 07 nautique 236 and was wondering if two wetsounds pro 80 is enough for good clear sound behind the boat. A friend of mine has four and it is rediculous. Is two loud enough? I like wetsounds because of the locking quick disconnect

if want the loudest and the cleanest sounding (depending on your setup). call duanne at nvs and have him make you up a pair with b&c or beyma drivers with selenium titanium horns... nothing and i do mean nothing will be louder or cleaner ( i would suspect they even might be the most efficent) i redid my skylon defcon iv's with beyma's 8's and selenium titanium lcld's/crossovers and it is outrageously loud and clear...

bryan- we have one pro 80 on each side of our tower but i have seen a guy with two on each side. one facing back and one facing forward. i dont know if that makes a difference but they are on the same side. i dont see any reason why they wouldnt fit dave- we have only two pro 80s up and i can hear them clear and i ride at 75 feet and my buddy rides at 80 ft and he says he can hear them clear

Our kickers, far cheaper than the other sound great at 80 feet.... they are a lot smaller too... four 6.5" kickers do us quite well... but there if for sure room for another 4 on the tower, that would be real loud
