I have another question about the Sony MP80 cd/mp3 player. When mounting it, do you need room below the unit for the face to open up? The reason I ask is because I would be mounting this player back in one of those waterproof housings that a lot of boats have their stock head unit placed in. There really isn't much room at all below or above the actual mounting position of the player. Thanks for any help.

My cdx-MP70 is in a waterproof housing. The tray and face have enough room, with plenty left over to have good clearance.
