I'm trying to find a display rack for our shop.
Anybody know of some new or used for sale?

Hit me up... cla17@hotmail.com I have a few WakeWorx racks around. I'll get them to you super cheap without the mounts and bungee for a very cool wall display. Check http://www.wakeworx.com for some pics of last years model or e-mail me for pics of the 05s

hahn, do those Phat racks have to be hung on the wall or are they free standing? And how solid are they?

They have to be hung on a wall or flat surface. They are pretty solid, my friend has one and it works really well if you have lots of different things to hang, like snowboards, skateboards and such. The WakeWorx racks are really just for wakeboards and wakeskates but because the backs are flat they can be screwed onto anything flat. I have a pair and a speaker box in the back of my Expedition for board storage. They can also be screwed to the back of truck beds for storage or on any wall or flat place. That is, of course, in addition to the universal fit to towers and such.

You will have to build something to meet your application. Free standing racks aren't in a lot of demand. You can get a metal shop to put something together, or build something out of wood. Or find some kind of rack that you could attach board racks to. WakeWorx racks fit 1.5" to 2.5" tubes. The Wake-me racks can be screwed into anything flat, but might look odd on a pole. You just have to weight the costs and time it will take to put something together. Good Luck...

Mohn is pricey but the best we use em for shows and sales beacuse you can take them apart for transport, and the arms adjust for skis or boards or wakeskates or surfers and the are free standing the way to go in my opinon.

the first year liquid force put those in their catalog, I wanted to buy one from them. I think theirs cost like 200.00 (at least, and this was in 1997 or 1998). I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't cost more.

I actually wish I had one of those now because it would make a nice board rack for all of my crap. But at that age, I crapped myself when I found out that a bunch of metal cost that much.
