John Anderson, Please Update on OWC post Frances!!

John, I know you will be all over this one. I was wondering how OWC faired during Frances....I was hoping to take my girlfriend over to hit the cables this week before the pre-surf expo rush. Let me know if you can....also, once my shoulder heals from my surgery we should meet up and ride!! Thanks

The OWC website was just updated to indicate that they will open when power is restored.

Just called OWC and the word is that they are opening tomorrow (Friday 10th). Plan to head there right after work, plus Sat and Sun as well.

I usually try to get there by 11. The earlier the better, but I'm usually dragging a bit on weekend mornings. Hope they've got all the sliders set up right. I have a feeling the cheese wedge is gonna need a little more vert if an O'Dub wakeskater set it back up.

Yeah we will be rollin in hopefully by 10 or so...I'll be with my girlfriend, she'll be wearing a red helmet. I drove by today to go to performance and everything is up except the sliderho funbox, it looks good. I'll see you there.

It will be nice meeting you. You won't be able to miss me. I'll be the oldest guy out there most likely. I have a white Capix helmet (like the one in my profile) and a faded red (pink) Jet Pilot vest.
