Don't know where you're from, but let me throw a little Seattle indie hip hop atcha. There's some strength coming out of the NW these days! Dyme Def - Panic Common Market - Tobacco Road otherwise, get that new Mos Def - The Ecstatic. Not sure if you consider Mos mainstream... All I know is this album is STRONG. last ones I'll throw out are a little hit and miss for me, but definitely have a gem or two... Tanya_Morgan - Brooklynati and Naledge - Chicago Piccasso. Enjoy.

try some lecrae or trip lee they are christian rappers that are really lyrical. Also flame is nice, there are a lot of good christian rappers out, just take a listen and you may like it
