35 hours first time out was april. Travis I hope you are sponsored by a gas company. I was just figuring out my gas bill the other day and was surprised, but man you have spent ten times what I have.

I figured 5gph times hours times 3.10/gallon

Yep, TheBoardingSchool.Com, and I wish I was sponsored by a gas company. It is definitely a huge operating cost.

Regarding the "bragging rights" of hours on boat - it really depends on your situation. For example, I am sure Travis rips (as both a driver and a rider), but I doubt even 1/3 of those hours are him riding personally. As far as driving bragging rights related to hours; I could see it. But in regards to riding, it really depends on your crew. A crew of 6-8 people will obviously put more hours on their boat than someone with a crew of 4 riders max. I am willing to bet the crew of 4 riders will have more individual ride time, even with less boat hours (to an extent).

Just my .02 Since I never really understood the whole bragging rights, aside from just being on the water.
