My girlfriend and I are in Acapulco, Mexico and we noticed a shiny yellow X-80 docked right in the middle of town last night. It pulled past our boat a few minutes ago and I got a couple shots. Anyone on WW know this boat?

I have a feeling that yellow X-80 boards with those bumpers out - the boating equivalent of making your x-mas lights a year round fixture.

Too Funny, I was stationed on that Coast Guard ship (USCGC Boutwell) back in early 90's. Never made it to Acapulco. Spent most of our time in the beautiful Bearing Sea in Alaska.

I was also in Acapulco, courtesy of the USN. We would do drug interdiction ops off the coast, boarded over half the mexican tuna fleet. never found any drugs. Maybe, they put da drugs on the MCs?

I know that alot of stolen cars end up down south....I wonder if some of the missing boats might be cruising the waters as well...

not saying it doesn't happen....but boats are a bit more difficult to transport. and i doubt they'd be hanging out in the tourist areas with a hot boat.

don't under-estimate MX i vacation there 2 times a year. there are a lot of really wealthy mexicans. ...also a lot US citizens with a lot of USD's that spend a lot of time down there at a second home or condo....
