A friend told me that the 2002 supra had a bad batch of glue for the decals. Mines 7 years old now and the decals have been falling off for a few seasons now. Can anyone tell me if this is a true statement about the glue?

Thanks

A bad batch of Glue? 7 Year old decals are not going to be warrantied because of a bad batch of glue. Had you tried to do this when you first noticed the problem, maybe. But no way are they going to warranty that.

I have a 2004 and the wave stickers started peeling on mine last year. Took it to the dealer and they put new ones on and it did cost that much.

My 02 was rock solid and was stored outside. I may still have the extra horizontal lines if you need them (yellow.)

I just live with it the way it is. Could have things to do with climate, where it is stored, fresh or salt water, who knows. If it is that big of a deal on an older boat just buy you some new decals. Im not sure how you will determine if it was a bad batch of glue unless they had 100's of boats come back.

Bubbles on our 03' waves as well and have been there since I picked it up in 2004. I think they counter force our 2000#'s of ballast...
