You decide!

Water-temp ~58

Air-temp...not much warmer.

Mark(Uncle Jessie), Brian, Scott and Me on Mark's boat. Rob, Brodie, Al (WakeViolator), Bill, and the token hottie Melanie on Rob's vessel.

Fun day!!! Sorry not much vid of UJ, he wanted me to film with his camera so I didnt pick up mine til the end of his run. Ya'll already know he kills it. The pics of Al and Brodie were far away ("Quick, drop the Sony, pick up the Nikon and get them!!") ...but you get the idea!!

P.S. Riding in a drysuit is difficult.....but didnt seem to matter for Brian and Scott, the Truckee men laid it down like they were trunkin it. Mad Props!!

Why dont I film and take pics this much in the summer?

(this may not be viewable till the morning, its waiting in line at Vimeo)

Beautiful boat AND water!

In regards to the title of the thread, I'd say that it takes a lil bit of insanity to have drysuit dedication. I've got mine!! Cold water wakeboarding forever!

Jeez, how about that riding. Backrolls to blind and other huge spins. Pretty sweet.

Seriously bud, thats a sick boat! I havent seen that black and gray combo before. Is that a 210? What year is it? And what is your ballast set up in that thing? And no for insanity, yes for dedication! Its never to cold for a drysuit! Just look at Parks riding iceburgs. Now I know none of us can compare themselves to Parks, but when you think about it, he is still human

Definitely love SAN's but, I agree with Darren, I just checked out the 09's and I don't like what they're doing with the tower on the new Super Airs. The old style tower is still on 1 or 2 of the Ski Nautiques, but i definitely don't dig the new 2 point towers they've got. They look...... Odd?

Sweet Vid.. The scenery looks like Nor Cal.. Maybe Tahoe area?...

Winter ridin here in Texas can't stand up to you "Ice Riders"...

Texas H20 temp 58.. Air temp 78.. = 136
136 > 100 rule

that was such an awesome day! we had the whole place to ourselves (the two boats as described above).

its Rob's '03 super air (maybe '02?? - rob will correct me if im wrong) limited edition. all 3 ballasts full plus a 400lbs phatty up front, 750lb on the floor, and 500lb across back seat. add in the 5 people and you have a big wake.

I kinda fell like a p#ssy after seeing Ben Axell's pix. THAT is dedication. you need a neoprene hoody bro!

We always ride new years day up here in the North West. Last year it was 36 deg and the water was 38deg. That is some cold water! Gotta love the hot water shower.

Those pics of cold water riding are crazy. I have some of us riding in April with snow everywhere, but the air temp was in the high 50's. Air temp makes all the difference. It wasn't so much the "air temp" this day, but being in the shade in the canyon. Very, very cold and we ride in technically colder water and air temps all the time in Truckee (Tahoe). I think it took me about a week for my muscles to recover. Thanks for the pull Mark and the vid Jarrod. Nice to meet everyone else too out braving the conditions and being shown up by the one guy wetsuiting with his wife driving while holding her 1 year old baby. That is insanity and dedication. Let's hook up this spring for some waking...and look me up if you're up this way...I got a N-star pass too through work and should get some Squaw tix through wy wife.

A few weeks ago on my birthday I rode in 48 degree air. Cant remember what the water was though... But anyways, I rode without a wetsuit. The only extra eqipment I was wearing was a Jetpilot top and I felt great!

That looks like a lot of fun. I love random cold water riding. And you guys sound like a really tight and awesome crew who has fun together so that always makes things double the awesome.

Don't get me wrong. On Saturday in Wisconsin I wouldn't exactly call it riding - more like surviving. A few people did some inverts - but other than that it was down and back for charity. Nothing like Jarrod's crew actually ripping.
