Hey yall, my buddy is considering buying a 98 Air Nautique. Its a pimp boat, but I was wondering what Kind of wake it throws with some weight. If anyone has any pictures of either their AIR boats or wakes, that would be awesome. Thanks

One of the best from what I've heard... but yea, you have to weight it a little.

A friend of mine had a 98 Air Nautique and the wake was awesome. Two BIG sacks along the d-drive, a sac in the center, and some lead in the rear and we were set.

lyle, the air before 02 has the same tsc hull as the super air. I run my 99 with the LCS tanks in the rear and a 600 on top of it, with a 350 in front of the back seat and another 600 in the bow and the wake is huge and steep. I was a little reluctant with the dd, but I could not be happier.

that thing is sick, did you add the newer FCT yourself. That is the one thing I don't like about the original "AIR" was the original tower.

Thanks scott, the dealer actually installed it in 2001, it originally came without a tower, it was an option in 99.

I owned a 98 Air Nautique, besides the factory ballast, we filled a fat sack in the truck, 600lbs of lead under the back seat, full floor sack and 300lbs of lead up front, great wake with good shape, not as good as the super air or x-star, very good for non-v-drive boat. The newer tower is much nicer than the factory 98 tower
