Lake Erie is still 49 degrees. I got a bare ultra dry suit this winter but have never used one. I also spend more time on my face and in the water then i do on the board by like 75 percent haha. Will i stay warm? or will my hands, feet, and head be un-bearably cold? Also will i stay dry? i dont know what to expect with the bare.

I wore my dry suit in North Indiana this weekend. 50 degree air and water. If you wear some poly pro long under wear you will be fine. Wear long fingered neo gloves. Usually a little water always gets in, but its nothing to worry about. I don't wear a hood unless its really cold.

Yes, probably any long fingered ski glove will keep the wind off of your skin.

what do you do to keep the toes warm? or do you just stop when they turn purple?

I am sure when they turn purple you probably cant feel them anymore so i guess you might as well just keep on riding right? haha
