I just got my boat/trailer back from getting the bearings re-packed, backed it up into the driveway and the actuator/master cylinder was leaking brake fluid when it was engaged. The master cylinder is new as of last year. Is this normal or can I carry some extra brake fluid and worry about it next year? Seems odd, since I had the disc brake conversion done last year and everything was fine...

Fluid reservoir might be over filled. If the shop you took it too filled the brakes when they did service on the trailer they may have over filled it pull the cap and check the level. When the back-up solenoid engages it blocks the brake line just after the master cylinder keeping fluid from flowing down the line, but the plunger still strokes as the trailer backs. Fluid that would normally fill the wheel cylinders (drum brakes) or caliper piston (disc brakes) has no where to go thus causing some fluid to leak. P.S. Brake fluid will eat paint so wash it off the trailer if any got on it.

When they pulled the wheels & bearings, they probably had to pull the disks & back off the brake pads to do it. This would have pushed the brake fluid out a bit, maybe overflowing the master cylinder.
Wipe it up, make sure it's not overfull now, and watch it. My guess is it won't leak anymore.
