Sorry to go off topic, but can Mastercraft really say 'Towboat of the X-Games' anymore, since there isn't any Wakeboarding in the X-Games as of... 2 years ago (I think)?

Haha...well mastercraft did hold the rail jam that was held outside the x-games the first year wakeboarding was cancelled. The winch towing the riders was hooked up to a mastercraft, so technically mastercraft was still pulling the event!

Chris, since MC was the towboat when X-Games had Wakeboarding, it was the towboat, so I think so. I'm sure MC has that right to do so by contract for so many years.

Hey, does Wetsounds have quick release on their tower speakers; if it does, how easy is it? I'm thinking of getting a pair like the ones above.

yes, they have a quick release clamp. It looks pretty easy to use. The ones above are specifically for the new MC Towers. It makes for a very clean look.

Are pro80's weigh a lot? it seems that if they do then that tower must shake a butt load because they already shake with the factory JL speakers. Sorry for the hi jack, keep posting pics! I want wetsounds on my x-star!

Can you put the 485's on a newer x-star tower or are you limited to the 80mc or 60mc?

He's not smiling because he is having to ride behind an '08 MC while our '08 BU was being built. Not starting a war... Just kidding... My kids will ride behind anything! They even rode behind '08 CC last weekend.

The 485's will not mount to the factory locations. But, they can be mounted using the standard brackets.

About the weight and shake... They tower seems to be pretty stable even going thru chop. You do have to watch your head when entering the boat!

How much do the JL's weigh? 4 pro80's seems like it would cause a lot of shake, maybe I need to cut back on the LSD

Mike the lake is empty down here as well after the poker run. We came in second but we lost a drive doing it, I still like that boat man, would love a ride sometime.
