I tried it and I couldn't get it to float me. I'd say I'm a pretty good wakesurfer and have been doing it for three years. I think the one I rode was 4'6? can't remember. Anyways I was riding it behind a Supra 21V w/only stock ballast and the opposite side emptied. Maybe w/a bigger wake it could have floated me. I tried dorkin around w/the handle and the massive fins on it were hard to break loose.

There was one guy that was able to ride it w/out the handle and he was only 140 lbs though and he had to work it pretty hard to stay in the pocket.

BTW I'm 6'3 and 190 lbs and normally ride a Skimskate 4'6.

I have one and I love it. I am 6' and 190lbs and I have no problem shredding this board. There is only one fin and the board is very loose compared to my landlock with premier fins. The board is so much more bouyant in the front.

tige_kid,

I second John's opinion. I just got the board last weekend and it is small at 4'4" but you can put a ton of pressure on the nose and it won't sink. I was surfing on a 2004 landlock. The Coex is a very fun board to surf, and will be a great addition since you already have a broadcast.

I just got a great deal on one for around $120. I know that is cheap but is there a better board for begineers or am I good with this one. I want to be able to learn and improve on. Thanks.

The Coex is a ton of fun. It's like riding a saucer. Easy spinner.
