no problem last summer, was landing them consistently, throwing them back to back, yada yada.

I haven't hit one this season yet. anybody have any reminders of what I should be doing?

i'm about to abandon those and move to 360's again, but i'm worried i'll blow out my knee with those...

I would recommend edging all the way through the wake, popping before rolling, and oh... holding onto the rope until you land.

I had that problem the season after I first learned them. I figured out I was doing a few things wrong (bad habits that formed:

1. cutting way way out, charging the wake and coming off my edge before leaving the wake
2. letting my arms go straight
3. started to try a hucked mexican roll

I think that 1 and 2 caused 3.

If you hold your edge all the way through the wake and keep the handle tight to your hip, you'll spin without effort and you'll stay on plain.

Those are the 2 key elements to the roll.

If you post video of a few attempts. You'll get a lot of advice on here too.

I was having the same issues with the HS 3. Couldn't land it for the life of me all summer. Finally got it back last weekend.

Pop the back leg off the top of the wake and roll. How are you landing?

The big thing for me to get it back was to turn my head over my inside shoulder to spot the landing. That has me throwing them very consistently the previous two outings. I won't talk about the last outing... the only thing I landed was on my head.
