Is anyone looking at new 2006 X-1's? I'm curious what kind of discount you might expect one to expect or to go after? Thanks!!

I was quoted $47K for an inventoried 06 with the following options. Not sure how good of a "deal" it was, but the price seemed fair. I was told there was no room for negotiation.

2006 X-1
White/Black
310 HP Motor
Custom cover in black
Swivel Board Racks
Tower Mirror arm and mirror
KGB Ballast System
Stereo CD with 4 speakers
Stereo Remote
Depth Finder
White Fiberglass Platform
Masterview Drivers Seat
Bow and stern pull up cleats
MasterCraft Speed Control
Tandem Axle Trailer
Heater
Shower
CD Changer
Tower speakers with lights
Amp & Sub

I paid $44k for my 2002 X-Star (same as the '06 X1) with the exact same options (exc mine has the 330hp eng).

I added bimini, Clarion 6 CD changer, and integrated bow sac since then. Considering all the price increases in the last 4 yrs, seems like a deal to me.

Bruce,

I was qouted a sale price $45,413.00 on the following. I think your quote looks pretty fair considering the options. Haven't tried negotiating yet here.

2006 MasterCraft X-1
navy-blue white
MCX 350 h.p., tower cover, fixed board racks, tower mirror attachment, KGB ballast, stereo remote, am fm stereo cd, depth finder, Masterview driver seat, pull up cleats, fire extinguisher, Mastercraft speed control, and single axle trailer.

They are not cheap, but if you love to ride the wake is worth every penny! I wold buy the same boat even if resale sucked, but we all know it is quite the opposite.

Just curious is all those prices before taxes and shipping?

My quote excludes taxes, but includes the freight charge (I think/hope).

I think it's a good deal if you can get it "out the door" for $47,000. See if you can get them to install a Perfect Pass speed control in lieu of the MasterCraft Speed Control. You will be a lot happier. The MasterCraft Speed Control can be frustrating to use.
