I hit a tree stump and destroyed my prop. I got it fixed by OJ Props via TSR mastercraft and after putting it on and taking a drive I still have a vibration and a sequel when I first put the boat in gear. I am think I might have done damage to the shaft as well.

My questions are what should I expect to have to pay to fix this? or is there any else I could look at before I have this done?

check your strut also, which is usually made of a softer metal than the stainless steel shaft.

if either are damaged you might need to make a claim on your insurance, and if you do, they should count what you paid out to repair the prop if you have a receipt. how much did it cost to repair it?

wow, I don't even know why I didn't think on insurance... The prop costed me $160 to get fixed.

Had a similar problem last summer. Sheered the rudder off, mangled the prop, bent the shaft and strut, and bit of gelcoat damage. Thank goodness for insurance. Mid 3k's to get it all fixed. Getting home was humourous. My wife drove 5mph while I held the oar out the back steering the boat.
