Does anyone know if the Prodigy is changing for '05? If so, how is it changing? Also, if you have rode the '04 before, how did it ride? Thanks.

I don't know about the 05 but I bought my sister an 04 prodigy platinum we later got rid of it because 'none' of us liked it(sis, brotherinlaw, myself). After I sold it, I turned around and bought her a Ricky G. board and that was the best choice we could have ever made. The Prodigy Platinum spins easy, its light, smooth in water. However, landings are a little solid. Felt like it was easy to catch an edge, good faceplant board. Most importantly, sis now loves her new Ricky G. and me and my brothernlaw like to ride it every once in a while.

I rode the 04 Plat Prodigy last year and loved it. I normally ride the Absolute. The landings didn't seem bad to me, but I only rode it one set. It was fast, smooth, and consistent. Great pop for a continuous board.

I rode the 04 Platinum and hated it. It seemed really loose and slow. Different stokes for different folks.

I havent anything about the 05 Prodigy.

snoobs you should have just bought the regular Prodigy. With the Platinum, your going to get harder landings because of the core. The board is a lot stiffer, hence harder landings. GB is made by O'brien, at least thats what a little bird told me. www.westsidewakeboard.com
