Not the best color scheme for a boat, but I need new carpet.
What color would you guys go with?
And where would I get it?

Some sort of red casino style carpet, maybe some dice and roulette wheels. No idea where you would get that.

What happened to the burnt orange?

Don't bag on the color scheme. That is the same color scheme of the boat that I first wakeboarded behind. It's a classic and one of the best wakes you'll ever ride. You could go with a tan tone since the hull is off white. It would help to see what the vinyl looks like.

Well I really wanted the burnt orange, but I decided that the stuff doesn't exist. The vinyl is brown, but will be replaced soon, might stay brown, might not. Not sure at the moment.

Stephen, I appreciate your concern for Brandon's feelings...but before you comment, know the whole story

I am not bagging on the boat. Brandon was originally looking for burnt orange carpet in a previous thread.

Murphy, your post wasn't up when I posted. I think the burnt orange would be great. I am a huge fan of the 2001's and like most all of the color combos. I was telling Brandon not to bag on the color scheme because I think it is a great looking boat.

If it were me, I would probably try to find a tan or light brown color.

be thinking about how that carpet is going to look when it gets dirty too, i got dark blue for carpet in my 2001 and everything seems to show up on it. i think tan would be pretty sweet. looks like earthtones are goin to be the next big thing for interiors, have you seen rusty's new xstar? i dont think dirt would show up on tan

Has anyone ever taken out the old carpet, then applied that rhino-liner type shell to cover up the floorboard/fiberglass?

It would be great if you could set it up so that it was snap-out carpet.
