well i know some of the audio guys are probably sick of these questions. im putting my system together and will look like this.
mp3 player-->line driver-->amp-->boss 530s
im looking at a audiobahn aeq 6q which is a line driver and eq. the output is 8 volts. since im running no headunit will this be output? would you recommend another type of line driver. its important that it has an eq and a volume knob since i have no hu.
as far as the amp goes, i talked to the guy at boss and he said i should run 250 watts to a side. these speakers are wired at 2 ohms. id like to send ample juice to the speakers and not afraid to overpower the things. i live in yuma and in the summer its 115 degrees so i dont want the amp working at its max all the time.
any suggestions or thoughts.
