I can get wake to wake easy and I have no problem landing in the flats. My problem is height, i get on average about 4 1/2 feet orr the water. I have a good edge in the wake. I think my problem is the timing of standing and hitting the wake. I usually stand tall when i start going up the wake. Would it be better to stand tall and maybe even lock my legs at the base of the wake. I dont know, if anyone could help me out that would be awsome. thnks

Make sure to stand tall just as you come off the wake. Remember when the board pops it pops up and if your whole body is not over the board (ie: your hips/uper body and buttox) you will not get the most pop. You don't want to be fully extended (standing tall) untill you are at the top of the wake. Recording your riding and playing it frame by frame helps.

Also keep your handle low, and when you come off almost give it a little extra push downwards.

danny, i'm thinking if you're consistently (you said on average) 4-1/2 feet off the water, you're not hurting at all. if you're shooting for 6 feet consistently, you may need more wieght or just a better wake in general. if you're just talking about a normal w2w, 5 feet is good air. popping a big ollie off the wake will help take you straight up but you're not that bad as is. more than enough hieght for some pretty sickening pokes, shifties and grabs... just my 2 cents...
