Just a thought....! I was out boarding this weekend much like I have been doing for the last 6 or 7 weekends. I seem to have hit the wall wrt advancing my skills.

The first thought that came to mind was , "maybe I am not riding enough" but heck I ride every weekend. Maybe I am riding too much and not getting enough time to recover? Weird!

So this has begged the question , how often does one need to ride in order to become a half decent rider?

Last summer I rode about 3-4 days a week. I'd say I progressed quite a bit, but it isn't hard when you have nowhere to go but up. But I didn't ride to progress. I didn't ride to get better. I just rode to have fun and enjoy the sunshine, and I just happened to get better.

p.S. Just stick with it and the progression will definetly show itself. Just remember to have fun!!!

man, i like that old thread. I was at work thinking about riding the other day and thought about that thread. since everyone's out riding now, how's the progression this year?

I focused on riding switch a few weekends ago, and last time i was out I was amazed at how comfortable it felt. not like normal, but I think it will give me the confidence to start throwing some 180s
