bummer man. I have a my 2011 recoil in the mail and should get it next week sometime. I also have some random old fins from my old wakeboards, including a 08 recoil. Once I get me new set up i can do some side-by-side comparison and if there is one that will work i'd be happy to send it to you. I'm assuming you don't have a local shop? $55 really?? Also, do you have the means to modify a fin if its close but not exact i.e. belt sander or something? I'll get back at you when my board comes

That's probably covered under warranty, I'd suggest filling out the self serve online case form http://www.slingshotsports.com/s.nl/...&category=-144 and giving a summary of what you need. That or you could try emailing info@slingshotsports.com

If slingshot doesn't help you out (which I would guess they would) .... PM me, I think I have a ****load of the .8 SS fins at home

The $55 ($52 or $54 depending on size) price is all 4 fins to clarify.
fins from 2008 and older are different than the newer ones. In 2009 slingshot beefed up the fins and even have wider screws (1/4"). this "beefing them up" thing makes me wonder if slingshot might warranty them too like eric said, but i don't know.

IF you used an older fin on your new setup i would definitely use some washers! like i said above, the older ones have smaller screws.

knowing that $55 bucks does not sound fun right now, the prospect of spending even more may not fly with you, BUT if you like the idea of going aluminum then try out CDI Fins. http://cdifins.com/cdifins_fins.html
I switched to these last year and am very happy.
I recommended them in another thread here that you can read more about them.
