I just picked up a new pair of '04 Parks at a local Sporting good "tent sale" ($229). I was looking to get the Temets, but now am glad I got the parks. Less things to break I figured. I've heard a few folks are breaking the "BOA" dial on the Temets (and Byerlys)

Just my 2 cents...

I've heard that about the BOA dial, but I have two pair and haven't had that problem. I have had a problem with the threads holding the wire guides coming loose on my Byerlys, which required getting new wraps.

I tell you the truth...the '03 Belmonts were the best boots I'd ever ridden. I prayed that they wouldn't use the crappy BOA system on them for '04 and alas...I was screwed! I tried on the Temets, same comfy feel if not better! However, within 5 minutes I busted that darn thing to pieces. Took'em back and begrudginly grabbed the Parks. I like the Parks, I've got to tell you. Nice boot, however, I wasn't able to ride them long enough to get a good run-down. Blew-out the left knee after about 4 times using them and haven't been able to walk normal for 5 weeks now. Specialist tomorrow morning, gotta hit the sheets, but my 2 cents...Parks. Screw the BOA! lol
