Does anybody know of any free programs that can be used to burn AVI or WMV files to DVD? I've got an AVI file that I would really like to get onto a DVD but have no clue how to do this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Do you know how to work torrents? If so there are tons of "free" ones.

superdvd creator (I think) is what I always used - you just drag and drop your random video files, it converts them to play in a DVD player, and lets you make menus for all the different video clips - and you can add photos/thumnails for each area for easy navigation

Nero, even Start Smart (the free one) will do that. You could also try Burn Aware Free, but I've been having some problems with it. Sometimes it doesn't burn the last track on a CD properly, but I think that's a Windows 7 permission thing it's not type approved for Win 7 yet.

You can download either of those from the net, no need for torrents just get the trial of Nero (there are key gens out there if you want to unlock it without paying, but they contain viruses usually so be careful)
