What is the amount of weight that a 2000 SAN ballast come with. A boat we are looking at has two ballast compartments in the back. There is no bow ballast. Is this much of a problem. And when did they start putting the bow ballast in the SAN? Thanks

520lbs, san has never offered bow ballast, if you mean belly ballast it was in 2002 i believe offered on TE. Its better if it doesnt have the center tank, it takes up the whole locker and only weighs 300 lbs, put a big 700 sack in there.

SAN's require 500 pounds in the nose or the wake will be really steep. Get a sack.

I put a Fly High Pro X 400lb bag in the locker, it fits perfect without any pinch points when completely full. The back hard tanks are 250lbs each. I added 600lbs of lead. 300lbs in the bow under the seat cushions, 100lbs under either back seat, and 200lbs on the floor in the back.

Nothing but compliments on the wake.
