So as many of you know i separated my shoulder at OWC during Surf Expo. I just had my shoulder reconstruction on Tuesday and would have had it done sooner but my wedding got in the way. During Surf Expo i came to find out that a separated shoulder is a very common wakeboard injury. I know that everyone is different but what was your experiences/recovery time

My experience is here: http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showt...lar+bone+grade

I did not get surgery and recovery has been awesome.

I've actually separated both shoulders. first one snowboarding -- 2 month recovery. just laid low and took it easy and haven't had a problem since. Second was early this may. separated shoulder, completely torn labrum, and stretched out a bunch of ligaments. ended up having to have surgery unfortunately. been doing pt and everything since surgery in july and am just now at about 90%..
