The other thread is way too long...

I have been trying these off and on this summer and it seems I can get the board off axis to start with, but as I do the handle pass, it goes to flat right away. How do I hang it up and OA longer AND still get the handle. I can get it big and OA if I really dip the right shoulder, but that usually puts me out of control and makes passing the handle super hard.

A few tips?

Thx.

What's up Jessie. There are quit a few things u have to do differently in a OA 3 than a flat 3. First is when edging in HS heavy front foot and scoop up the wake like a progressive back roll. Instead of pulling the handle straight across your hip you need to pull it across and down to leverage your body OA. If you click on my profile a have a pic of an OA 3. I have just started riding in the Sac area and have been coaching at West Coast Camps for 4 yrs if you ever want to ride.
