I own a Malibu Response 2003 and the speedometer does not work properly: the needle fluctuates a lot in a wide range and it is virtually impossible to determine which is the true speed of the boat. The paddle wheel seems to be in order. The tachometer works perfectly. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix the problem?

I'd like someone to chime in on this too. My speedo hasn't worked in forever.

Replace it.

The greatest tool I have ever carried on my boat was a paper clip. Speedos get clogged all the time and need to be unplugged...then I got a Perfect Pass and no longer care!
