I need to make my wake bigger. My 98 elite v-drive has no ballest. The kids and I have advanced this summer and the stock wake is not enough. I want to put sacs in the storage compartments on the side of the engine. Do they make sacs for this. What size (gallons) would be good. I have 300 lbs of lead for some weight up front. If anyone has some for sale let me know.

I think straight line makes a pair of v-drive sacks that will fit perfectly, but I would go for 2 full size sacks for the rear and not fill them as full. The idea is to evenly distribute the weight throughout the whole boat.

gethighsports.net has some 450lbs vdrive sacks. They are made of PVC so the are very hard to break.

gethighsports.com will also custom make them to what ever dimensions you specify and it really doesn't cost any more than you would pay for premade bags through anyone else.

If your going to throw 700 to 900 pounds in the back you better buy some more lead for the bow too. I would beef it up to 600 or 700 pounds in the bow.
