needs help on wrapped KGB

ok, I have been trying these off the DU for a while and geting close...once i throw the roll i let go of the wrap handle and reach for the handle, i make the flip but cant get all the way around on the 3, seems like its not a fluid motion, more of a backroll to late 360....any have tips??

If it is spinning you late, you might be pulling too hard on the take-off and getting slack in the line, causing the spin to be late. If you have a video camera, tape your attempts and see what is going wrong.

heh, have tried this trick...results: ass plant every time, backroll with 270degrees....

you're probably letting the handle get away from your body - that'll slow down your rotation. it's common mistake with this trick.

btw, why are you reaching for the handle? reach for a grab. you don't need your other hand on the handle until you've landed.

i reach for the handle because when i get two hands on it i figure it will pull me around faster

i have never seen a rider put the second hand back on the handle before landing this trick. if they use two hands on the handle it's well after they've already landed it. i'll bet the fact that you're trying to re-grab the handle with your other hand is what's screwing up your rotation.
the whole point of a wrap trick is not needing to help the rotation.
