Dude, who would have thought we would still be busy in November?

http://wake9.com/blogs/blog/2009/10/30/2010-tige-rz2-comes-to-wake9/

Let me know what you guys think, send in your suggestions. I could just kick the tires, but what kind of fun would that be?

I was hoping to have this boat here for our Polar Bear event, but it didn't work out.

What a Joke.

1. So what are the rules around here for cowardly anonymous posting?

2. Stop drinking the bong water.

3. Get a life.

Now, I will try to use small words, so that you will understand comprehend GET this.

I am not, and I have never been a Tigé dealer. I have no affiliation association hookup with Tigé. In 2007 I purchased a Tige 24Ve brand new and at full price. I have accessorized pimped it out at my own expense and at full price.

Tige has never given me anything for free except for a few T-shirts and a backpack, and the chrome shiny emblems thingys on the back of my boat.

I think Tige has appreciated liked the way we use our boat, and so months ago talked to me about how we weight it and stuff. I am sure they also talked to other customers boat dudes and got their feedback words. This 2010 boat is a great acknowledgement reply.

The rest of this message is for those with an IQ over 60.

I am not affiliated with Tige at all, but I love my boat, that is it. Many of you know me, I am just an enthusiastic and passionate person, and I love to wakesurf and the stuff that goes with it, and the way it keeps my family smiling and busy.

For the record, if ANY BOAT MANUFACTURER bought us (wake9) a boat to test and demo, we would be just as excited and be just as thorough. I think the POLAR BEAR event (http://wake9.com/blogs/blog/tag/polar-bear/) is a good example of how wake9 desires to promote all great wakesurfing products, not just the ones I am affiliated with. The same goes for other wakesurfing products. You can ask Clay about that.

One more thing, I don't have a mission to promote Tige over all other boats. HOWEVER, I do desire to promote boats that produce an equally excellent wake on BOTH sides with minimal effort and with 100% water weight hidden away. This tige seems to offer that, and I am going to find out tomorrow.

If you make a boat that you think fits that bill, then call me. Lets get on the lake and shoot some video. You will get to see me and my whole family tell the world how great of a wake your boat makes. I may stick with my Tige, but I would love to help promote more boats that fit this criteria.

Lastly, I am NOT making a point against Centurion. I haven't been close to one, but I here the AVY makes a great wake on both sides. I just haven't seen any example of that from an Enzo. And I also have no problem with someone that LOVES the Enzo wake, and buys/uses the boat for that great wake on one side.

I hope that is all clear, I am not about bashing anything, but I am free to promote whatever I love that anyone happens to put in front of me.

“Advertising includes the posting of anything contributed by a person affiliated with a company (owners, employees, reps, riders, friends, etc.) with the sole intent to promote a company's products, events, web pages, etc.”

Wake9 sells goods YOU are a COMPANY/DEALER what part of that do you not understand?

Boy, I REALLY tried to use small words and everything. Read the paragraph you posted:

“Advertising includes the posting of anything contributed by a person affiliated with a company (owners, employees, reps, riders, friends, etc.) with the sole intent to promote a company's products, events, web pages, etc.”

I have NO affiliation with Tige. I have no more affiliation with Tige than I do with Apple Computer. Yet, you will find me singing the praises of my macintosh all the time. I am not an owner, employee, rep, rider, friend, or an ETC of Tige. To my best memory, I have not ever even met a single Tige employee face to face.

Also, my sole intent is NOT to promote Tige. And when it comes to boats, I would say AGAIN, that I would just prefer to promote boats that meet the wake criteria I have SO OFTEN listed. Feel free to test me on that.

Hey Dennis, you have a relationship with Sanger don't you? At least you know those guys? Call them up, lets do a similar video/pictures on the surf edition of the Sanger v237. That was a fun boat and it made a great wake on both sides easily.

Any other boat manufacturers/dealers want to get in on this? Just contact me if you think your boat meets my wake criteria and lets get that boat up to lake oroville, it would be a blast. Not to mention, while you are up here, we will treat you to some great home cooked tri tip and fixins. Because THAT is what wake9 is about. The love of wakesurfing and sharing it hospitably with likeminded people.

Mr Spam, whoever you are. You are not invited. :-) But hey, you can watch the video.

Robert, don't feed the trolls! I look forward to reading your review, even though I have no interest in buying a new boat for a long time. I love wake sports, and am interested in any and all articles regarding them. Besides, I am willing to bet you would review any boat that someone was willing to give you for demo. Hmmm, wanna demo my 08 SANTE? Haha, would love to hear how you would set it up! Keep up the good work!

@ctimrun
Thanks for the encouragement, I really appreciate it. As for the troll, it may look like an anonymous hit and run, but it is not. SPAM also sends emails to the powers that be at WW and then I will see posts or threads disappear. I hold no ill will towards WW in any way, but felt it was necessary to point out that SPAM is just completely wrong, so that this thread is allowed. I wish to respect WW and its rules and since I have no affiliation with Tige, I am not violating them with this thread.

So if you ever up in NorCal, bring your SANTE out and lets wakesurf. I have been around lots of SANTEs wakeboarding, but not surfing. However, watching that wakesurfing in france video made me notice that it could throw a nice surf wake. Just haven't seen it for myself.

Anyway, I am about to head out to Wake9 HQ and meet that beautiful new Tige. I took my 24Ve out of the water last night, and I am going to pull the 1235 prop off of it this morning, and the swim deck and see if I can test the new tige stock, with the deck, and then also with the prop. See how much of a difference it makes on a virgin boat. Good test for ACME as well. When I put on the 1235 prop on my boat, it was AMAZING the difference in handling and the ability to handle the extra weight.

ragboy "I REALLY tried to use small words and everything"

Links sending people to your site where you sell FEA, Walker, Xtrak, Samson, Endless makes you a DEALER and that is advertising, what part do you not understand?

SPAM - the last I looked Tige is a sponsor of this site. So even if you think Ragboy is Spamming (which at the most is questionable), the review of a sponsors product (especially since Tige set this up) is very relevant. This will be a great chance for Tige to showcase their surfwake in the new 2010 line up. Personally I am looking forward to this review since most boat reviews revolve around the wakeboard wake.

FYI - I own a Centurion Avalance C4 so I have no affiliation with anybody involved.

Just got back, had a great time. I will post up more later tonight. Right now I have to go feed my crew.

@spam DW specifically told me I could point to my site when I was writing up an event, like the Polar Bear event, and this tige meetup. When I post videos and other stuff, I link direct to the video on youtube and NOT my site, out of respect for DW's rules.

Anyway, what a great boat, and the weather was clear and beautiful. Great day, stay tuned.

Spam, calling someone out while using an alias like "Spam" rather then your normal username, which i'm sure you have, is pretty lame.

Grow a set and post like a man!

Robert, keep up the great work of promoting the sport of wakesurfing. I'm sure you would do the same review on any boat if the manufacturer pulled up to the lake with one. $.02

Spam.... go away!

Robert keep up the good work. I have yet to see anyone on any website do as much good to promote the sport of wakesurfing as you... I applaud your efforts!

plenty of new Tiges on my lake this year at least 10 new RZ's.ive installed enzo sacs in most of them.
they look sweet and ride great.i really like the tower.
just 1 catch,my enzo wave on EITHER side port or starboard DESTROYS all of them no questions asked.
my experience with peeps who claim the enzo isnt created equal on both sides are simply not experienced or trying to sell something else.
Old     (ragboy)      Join Date: Aug 2007       11-02-2009, 11:19 AM Reply
I still am not to hip on the tower, I do think it looks good, but I like my switchblade, and I like the speakers farther back. Its also pretty low. But its a preference thing.

As far as the enzo wake, I just haven't seen it. The boats I have been around and on have had much worse "opposite side" wakes. Even the owners readily accepted it. However, I would have no problem admitting my error if I saw it in person. If a dealer or someone bought out an enzo to our lake I would definitely give it the same treatment and honest review of the wake. Like I said before, I would love to promote many boats on wake9 that make great wakes on both sides with little effort. I roll in a Tige but I don't think everyone has to. Lots to choose from.
