I have recently purchased a Sanger V215 and have noticed a vibration when I pull up a rider. I am running 1800 -1900 pounds of ballast when I am am pulling a surfer and 2300 when I am pulling a wakeboarder. Has anyone else had this same problem or know what it is?

I had a shudder if I throttled up while on full lock in the steering. The dealer adjusted the rudder and it no longer does that, or vibrate at all.

most boats will have a little shutter when you give a little gas from idle with the wheel fully cranked. some boats will get a little vibration right out of the hole. next service get your shaft and strut aligned. also make sure your prop is perfect. just the smallest tiny little imperfection will give a vibration

Sounds like it's cavitating. Stock prop? Aftermarket prop installed/seated correctly? Vibration at any other time/speed? Need more info.

Hi Sparky

It is a stock prop, no vibration at any other time. Can you adjust cavitating?

Not really on that boat since it has a fixed ride plate for the most part. You only have a few degrees adjustment. But its at start up so probably not going to be able to get rid of it with plate adjustment. I would have the prop checked and also check runout on the shaft for starters. Having the engine alignment checked would be on my list as well.
