i recently stepped up from 00' hyperlite splits to size large 02' hyperlite highbacks, they seem much tighter than the splits. (i could get into the splits without any water) i have size 10 shoe. what size are your feet and what size are your bindings? is this tightness normal?

Differant bindings fit differantly. The highbacks are tighter around the foot than the splits by design. You can allways loosen them if you want.

I have size 11-12 (depending on what brand of shoe) and wear XL's. Can ride in Larges OK. Even got my feet in some mediums not long ago.

I wear a size 9 and came out of my medium super suctions, high backs, and parks. Dropped to a small Zeus and haven't had any problems. Gotta use a little soap to get them on my feet, but tight bindings suit me just fine

10.5 feet, Med. Belmonts. Bought this years Med. Temets, they suck. Broke'em in 1 set. Try on different boots, demo them, see how they feel on the water. CWB boots tend to allow for more flexibility in the ankle as well as toes. Shawne...Zues' are quite comfy! Hyperlite boots tend to be more stiff like snowboard boots. I like this feeling. LF boots tend to hold your feet by pinching the front of the ankle and tight on toes. Get out and ride.
