Denver / Carter Lake - Saturday 10/22

I have a 3rd, just wanted to post to see if anyone is crazy enough to join us. Supposed to get up to 57 degrees!

The boat is right there so it's convenient.

I have 1 extra drysuit.

Hey Steve I just saw your post Jan 29th, I just moved to the Denver area from San Diego and I was hoping to join a crew this spring/summer. I know the cost to take a boat out for a day and I always bring extra beer if that's your thing, if not cool too... PS I would have gone in OCT.

where was the open water? was it enough to put the boat in and ride? could go to pueblo, but pueblo is just too far away.

i was out on CC yesterday at lunch, the DOW was stocking fish and got the truck stuck out on the ice.

it has been years since the ice stayed this long, or i just have a really short memory.

Private lake. It's spring fed so melts were the water comes up.

ya, figured something like that. can you get on the lake? or is it still closed? my boat is in the garage and ready to go if yours is still winterized.

We're talking about riding already? I'm impressed! And I thought I was a die hard when I went at the end of March/first of April and then into November one year.
