Ok, i'm pretty good with video cameras, but not an expert. I was wandering if i was filming from the boat, and i was using a fish eye lens, how would it look? Would it look cool? or just look like crap?

I don't think it would look too special from a boat, but maybe if you were filming for a tube.

I think tube shots are the only application they have in wakeboarding. I'd be annoyed watching anything through a fisheye lens from that far away. You wouldn't see anything.

agreed.
Here is a shot Bess Marine took from the boat with a fisheye (its a still but same idea)... the rider is sorta lost in it all.

Yochman I think you are wrong about tubes being the only application for fisheyes and wakeboarding.

That's just my .02 though

he said filming from the boat... which I don't think would look good unless you were trying to get
a like a sunset, back of the boat, rider
or
like 10 riders at the same time across

Ha, I guess if you're doing rails also.
Btw Bess Marine does an excellent job. I was very impressed with their shots of me when they came out.
